Just wondering if anybody has had any problems with leaking petrol tanks. I have a 2014 model, first regestered in 2015 and was noticing the smell of petrol, after removing the tank to check it I found that at the seat end, it is leaking from where the bracket is welded to the bottom of the tank.

Yes it's a not too common problem, they were being replaced under warranty and possibly some out of warranty. Faulty spot weld I believe.

 
Experience is something you get just after you needed it
